Veteran Australian entertainers Lindsay Field, Sam See and Glyn Mason have joined forces to produce one of Australia’s most memorable and entertaining musical collaborations and their latest project sees the trio reimagining favourite Australian songs as Field, See and Mason – Downunder the Covers.
The three long-time friends have separately carved a great niche in Australian music. Sam and Glyn, working together as The Pardoners have released two albums of memorable original songs:
“Think The Band at their peak or early Eagles before they sucked”, one critic raved.
They first played together in Stockley, See and Mason but their shared and separate heritage includes Sherbet, Chain, Copperwine, Flying Circus, Fraternity, Greg Quill, Ariel, Goanna, and the John Farnham Band. Most recently, the pair have toured with Brian Cadd and Glenn Shorrock’s Axiom reunion.
Lindsay is perhaps most recognizable as John Farnham’s backing singer, but has also sung with Olivia Newton-John, Jimmy Barnes, Renee Geyer, Brian Cadd, and Glenn Shorrock. He is now one of the country’s most sought-after vocal coaches.
Field, See and Mason create an engaging combination of stunning vocals, and sensational guitar work, interpreting great Australian songs – original, new and old. Talent, originality, and a healthy dash of humour make for memorable performances by Field, See and Mason.
The trio is delighted to be renewing their acquaintance with the Albert Park Port Lounge.
And I am delighted to welcome them back
