Acoustic Tull – CANCELLED {COVID} 15th July 2022

Acoustic Tull – 15th July 2022

From the Band

“Our flautist has been deemed a close contact – she works in schools and they still seem to be COVID central – so we can’t rehearse and she’s unable to leave the state. It seems all attempts to get Acoustic Tull to Melbourne are doomed. And you just can’t have Tull without the flute can you?”

We agree, sadly the show has to be cancelled

Acoustic Tull.

An Adelaide band specialising in acoustic covers of Jethro Tull songs. A band playing the songs of Jethro Tull!!

They are coming all the way from Adelaide so do come along and support them.

I saw them perform last year and loved them. Jethro Tull may have been considered a rock band, but they were really an English Folk Band.

“Geoff Perkins and Michael Coghlan got together to learn a few songs and to see what would happen. We incidentally stumbled across Life’s a Long Song – an old Tull classic – and it instantly fell into place. We tried a few more Tull numbers and before long we had a set worth playing out and about. And then we found Kerryn Schofield – flute player extraordinaire and lover of Tull music – and something beautiful was born. Voila Acoustic Tull!”
Mick Ridge also later joined on bass.

More info as it comes to hand
